The Play and Learning Environment
All our play and learning activities are designed to meet the requirements laid down in The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (to read online, click here) which is the national guidance provided by the government.
The Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage provides information and advice to help plan challenging and enjoyable experiences across all six areas of Learning and Development:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Communication, Language and Literacy
- Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
Accordingly, our staff provide a well-planned, equipped and organised play environment that offers children rich and stimulating experiences, alongside opportunities to explore, experiment, plan and make decisions for themselves.
At all times our staff will recognise a child’s individuality, effort and achievement.
